Write-up Template
I've created this template to make it easier for you to write up your first few designs. You don't have to slavishly conform to the template - it's really just intended to help you get started. It also includes all the key elements that you need to include for your design to be signed off for accreditation (also see the assessment form below).

Self-Assessment Form
This is an adapted version of the assessment form that tutors use to assess your designs (see below for full version). You can use it to self-assess your designs before submitting them for assessment. This will give you much more clarity on whether the design is ready or not.
Also, if you fill in a self-assessment form and submit it with each design, it will make the job much easier for the assessing tutor, which is likely to make them look on your designs more favourably!

Assessment Form
This is the form that tutors use when assessing your designs. I strongly recommend that you read it to understand exactly how we assess your designs, and therefore what you're aiming for.

Design processes & Tools
Design Processes & Tools matrix
Below is a matrix of permaculture design processes, tools, ethics and principles. It isn't an assessment tool (you won't be marked based on it) and you aren't expected to tick off everything on it. It's really there as a prompt to encourage you to try a diverse range of methods, so that you maximise your own development as a designer.
